Javernick Family Farms is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Canon City, Colorado.  We are a 4th generation farm that continues the tradition of raising produce and cattle.  In 2005 Beki came home to work with her family to start the produce operation again (grandma and grandpa quit the produce business in 1992, grandma is 95 years old now) and to create a sustainable, organic operation. We now grow about 5 acres of produce for CSA, farmers markets, restaurants, and seed production.  We have about 40 acres for hay production and pasture and run our cattle at the farm in the winter and in Westcliffe in the summer.
